The head office of KINFRA is located in Thiruvananthapuram, the
state capital of Kerala. The Parks of KINFRA are scattered in
different parts of the state. Kerala has several specialities.
Kerala is the only state in India which have legislature for statutory
Single Window Clearance. The state offers highly skilled man power
and cheap labour compared to international rates. Owing to the
rich natural resources of the land, the State of Kerala offers
the lowest tariffs for potable water and electricity compared
to its counterparts.
In working towards its goal of metamorphosing Kerala into a industrialised
state, KINFRA takes utmost care to protect the natural environs
as the state is one of the greenest in the country. Kerala is
one of the most fertile grounds for investors as it is the only
state in the country which offers single window clearance.
Location : Kerala is located
in the southwestern tip of Indian mainland with Arabian Sea on
the west and the unbroken and undulating stretch of Western Ghats
on the east.
Getting there :
Air : Kerala has two international
airports - the Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) International
Airport about 12 km from the KINFRA head office, Thiruvananthapuram
district, south Kerala & Cochin International Airport at
Nedumbassery in Ernakulam district, central Kerala. There is one
more airport located in the north Kerala - the Kozhikode (Calicut)
Airport at Karipur, Kozhikode district. The Coimbatore
Airport in Tamil Nadu (the neighbouring state of Kerala) is
closer to Palakkad district of Kerala and Mangalore Airport,
located in the neighbouring state of Karnataka, is close to Kasaragod
and Kannur districts of Kerala.
Rail :
Kerala has an excellent railway system. KINFRA Parks are located
at Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Ernakulam (Kochi), Malappuram,
Kannur and Kasaragod. Each of these districts has railway stations.
